feeling crafty
I have been a big fan of Yulia Brodskaya's work for a long time. Just imagine how much time goes into one of her beautiful pieces! Everytime I revisit her website she has something new and it seems like more and more people are hiring her for their product advertising. Keep it up Yulia!

I want to go to there.
This is my favorite little piece of graphic design, I stare at it every time I'm trying to decide how to take on a design challenge. It might just be that I enjoy wondering about that rock, and when it is going to tip into the ocean. But also the typographic treatment reflecting and complementing the image is so awesome. I wish I knew who did it so that I could give them credit!

recycled sketch books
Our department goes through a lot of paper, and we are always looking for ways to reuse any accidental printing that occurs in a big production push. One solution is our handy recycled notebooks! We save all of our one sided unwanted printed paper and make these notebooks for everyone in the office! One side is blank and the other side has everything from elevations to renderings to photos to cad work on it. People come down to pick up a few and end up looking at what was printed on the other side to find their 'oops-printing' favorites!

danger garden
Our good friend Loree has started a blog! Danger Garden will feature Loree's love for spiky plants, and probably a few pugs who need protective eye wear to be in said garden! Check up on Loree's passion here!

ode to anthropologie
Anthropologie's window displays are amazing. The way they use every day objects to create eye grabbing scenes always stops me on the sidewalk. They regularly hire different artists to come up with fresh ideas, my personal favorite is the hanging bags of dirt and plants that they featured last spring.
Here is a window display we put together to promote Ankrom Moisan for the AIA builidng in Seattle that was inspired by Anthropologie's hanging style.

a kamp kitchen upgrade!
We're happy to report an upgrade to the Kamp Kitchen! Kirsten's new espresso machine is amazing! You can research latte perfection here at Seattle Coffee Gear. And you simply MUST watch this video of our favorite espresso correspondant demonstrating a similar model here.
we heart portland
We really do, it is such a great place to live! And this little graphic that Draplin posted the other day graphically sums up the reasons for our love quite nicely!

graphic sedums
Our good friend Loree sent over this lovely garden image from one of her favorite blogs called Flora Grubb Gardens. I love how these little plants create an intricate composition that is interesting close up and far away! Thanks Loree!

welcome to kamp!
Good Morning Kampers and welcome to Design Kamp! We'll be making macaroni necklaces and learning to fish with paper clips soon, but first a few words about our little kamp!
We founded our kamp with the wish to share our creativity and inspiration with the world. We run across so many exciting instances of fabulous design in our daily lives as graphic designers and our Design Kamp is our way of sharing those gems with you!
Now about those macaroni necklaces...
