Charley Harper dinnerwear!

I've been a huge fan of Charley Harper forever now, here's the proof (note the Harper Chickadee on my wall next to my monitors at work - above). So you can imagine my excitement last weekend in Sisters Oregon when I found these Harper plates by Tag! I bought the whole set and gifted a few more to my Mom for her birthday! You can get your own fabulous Harper plates either in Sisters, or here!

team nemo = meat omen

Hood to Coast is coming up next weekend! And I'm on Nemo Design's team which is named Meat Omen (team nemo backwards) my husband Mike just put together these awesome shirts for our team! Can't wait to show my love for meat! (left:Backside right: Frontside)

say it with wood

I'm always on watch for any way to politely yet firmly say "remove your shoes!" at our front door. I grew up with a no shoes in the house policy. We're not japanese (unfortunately) and I feel really strongly that it's rude to track in nasty things from the outside world on your shoes into someone else's home. It's a respect thing, hello!SO when I saw these lovely tree slice greetings they caught my eye! You can have anything printed that will fit on the 4-5" diameter slice! Any ideas how to more succinctly say "Take off your shoes - don't track mud in I feel that it's terribly disrespectful and disgusting, that's how it is my friend. oh and welcome to our home!" Here's the link in case you'd like to say it with wood too!

landscape jewlery

Stumbled across this lovely company called Earth Brooch. You can submit your favorite landscape and they'll make a lovely relief in silver for you! I think I would choose to have a part of the Olympic Pennisula for my brooch!

we've moved kamp sites!

Today is our first officially "open for business day" in our new location in the main building at AMAA! We made a rockin' sign and brought goodies to lure architects/interior designers/urban designers over to see our new space!

the big picture

Mike turned me on to checking out the Boston Globe's "Big Picture" section once in a while. They have the most epic collection of photos from around the world. One of the current collections is from Greenland and it's spectacular!

natural beauty

I've been looking more into fashion lately. It's a really lovely and personal aspect of design. Nubby posted this link this morning and I just loved looking through the photos of top models without makeup. They all have natural beauty!

82

This hot designer over at Nemo (who also happens to be my husband) put together this awesome shirt the other day. 1982 was a good year!

typographic flooring

Totally loving this typogrpahic flooring! We're needing some hardwoods in our home, and this is just beautiful!

lucky me

I came into work this morning ready for Proposal Day from Hell 2009 and dug into a fresh pile of revisions and emails. I got to this very heavily marked up page and amid the notes and edits I found this sticky (middle of photo) from Loree. How lucky am I to have someone so thoughtful helping me out? Thanks Loree, you're adorable!

nw fresh

I'm always looking for home renovation ideas and I heart this wall treatment! The color range is so pretty and northwest-lovely! Maybe I could do this treatment in a less permanent way, like as a headboard?

giovanna battaglia

I heart Giovanna Battaglia, shes the fashion editor of L'Uomo Vogue, a model and a stylist. Check out her blog here. I'm so awed and inspired!
