Niketown Eugene

On Sunday we went down to the Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field in Eugene. It was an awesome meet but there wasn't really a booth to buy a commemorative meet tshirt at so we headed over to the Eugene Niketown. I really liked the sketchy/hand drawn plywood treatments that are displayed both through the front windows and along the entry interior wall. The plywood has a dual purpose; to get people interested in the store and to shade the video wall opposite the main entrance's adjoining glass windows. I love the quote from Bowerman about how the ultimate track spike would be if the athlete would just let him drive a nail through their foot, now that's devotion to the sport!
